MARCH FAVORITES

Since I've been locked up in my house for a couple weeks now, I've been focusing a lot on the basics. This month's favorites are geared towards skincare and hair care for that reason because I'm not applying makeup or dressing up as often. I'm planning on doing a favorites upload every month because I'm always trying out new things, so make sure to check back here at the end of every month!

1. Huda Beauty Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub

Even though I've only been using this for about a month, I swear I can't live without this now. It works so well with removing dead skin on your face (and your lips!) as well as giving you a brighter, more even toned complexion. I use this twice a week (at night), however, since it does have AHA and BHA's I don't apply retinol after using this because it can cause irritation. In replacement of the retinol, I apply my hyaluronic acid serum as well as a hydrating moisturizer.

Purchase this here.

2. Ofra Cosmetics NikkieTutorials Highlighting Trio

If you're into intense highlighters then this is going to be your next new favorite! This will give you THE glowiest, brightest highlight of your life. But, it's also buildable for people who like their highlight a little more subtle; you just have to have a light hand when applying it. Purchase this here.

3. Maybelline Falsies Lashlift Mascara

This is great for really lifting your lashes and keeping them there the whooooole day. Often times when I try different mascaras, they're either too drying or my lashes look really dead by the end of the day. This mascara really helps avoid that, you just have to make sure to be careful not to clump your lashes together because the brush may cause that. Purchase this here.

4. The Body Shop Mediterranean Almond Milk with Oats Instant Soothing Mask

You guys already know I'm a huge fan of products that promote hydration and put "bounce" back into dull skin, so this mask is no surprise. I originally tried this in a single use sample just to see how it would do (which btw I sparingly used it so I got about three tries out of it to really see how it works) and it performed so well, even I was surprised. Typically for hydration I would use the Ethiopian Honey Mask by them, which is also really good, but the almond milk mask totally beats that one out of the water. I use this about twice a week, sometimes more if I'm a little drier. Purchase this here.

5. OUAI Finishing Crème

Honestly, I love Ouai's entire line of hair care products but this is one of my favorites. Simply because this product reduces any type of unwanted frizz and keeps flyaways under control. I use this at the end of styling my hair, usually if I just curled it or took it out of overnight braids. I also like to use this after blowing drying on the ends of my hair, as my hair is naturally straight so it's prone to static, which this helps control it as well as adding shine. Purchase this here.

Those are this month's favorites, let me know if you guys want a hair tutorial on YouTube since I've been getting a lot of questions about it! See you in my next post ♥
